Iroko Wood

Iroko is a common tree grown in intertropical Africa. It is a dense African wood with the properties of genuine Teak. Thus, many people consider Iroko as a Teak look-alike wood. However, it is lighter in color than Teak and has an excellent finish with a golden brown color. In addition, Iroko wood is durable in the outdoors, making it an ideal material to use in the boating industry, doors and windows making, furniture, shop fittings, and joinery. It does not require any preservative treatment making it an economical choice in comparison with other hardwoods.
