Padauk Wood

Padauk is an exotic hardwood species that has a bright and vivid blood red, and it becomes a dark purple color slowly when it is first cut. Its quality resistance to insects and its dark red color make it an ideal material for veneer, flooring, and furniture.  Due to its high strength and durability, the padauk wood is also used for cabinet making, veneer decor, and knife handles.  Padauk wood originated in Asia or Africa, it is very easy to work with while processing machining work.
